Our commitment
TayamVerse is the Data Fiduciary for your personal data under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the DPDP Rules, 2025. We collect only what we need to teach you and run your account.
What we collect
Name, mobile number, email, city and state; your TayamVerse ID and login activity (device and time); course, batch, attendance and progress; your answers in the “About you” form (age group, occupation, experience, goals); journal entries, doubts, Satsang posts and support tickets; payment status and invoices; and, if you choose, your birthday and TradingView username.
We do not collect PAN, Aadhaar, bank account or card details. Payments are handled by our payment partner, which has its own privacy policy.
Why we use it
To create and secure your account, deliver live classes and course content, send login details, class reminders and receipts (WhatsApp, SMS, email), provide support and mentoring, issue invoices and certificates, meet legal and tax obligations, and improve our teaching.
Your “About you” answers help us teach responsibly, for example to warn you if trading may not suit your situation. They are never used to sell you financial products.
Consent
We send you WhatsApp messages only if you agreed to them (the WhatsApp box on our forms, or Account in the Gurukul). You can stop them any time in the Gurukul under Account, or by telling us. We never send passwords on WhatsApp.
We process your data with your consent, given at enrollment and in the Gurukul, and for legitimate uses allowed by law. You can withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this will not affect processing already done, but we may not be able to continue providing the course.
Sharing
We never sell or rent your data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate (hosting, payment, video-class, WhatsApp and email providers), under confidentiality, and with authorities when the law requires.
Your journal is private to you. In the Satsang group and Alumni circle, other students see only your first name and what you choose to share.
How long we keep it
We keep your data while your account is active and for as long as needed afterwards for legal, tax and accounting purposes (invoices are kept for the period required by GST law). Data we no longer need is deleted.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, update or erase your personal data, withdraw consent, and nominate someone to exercise these rights on your behalf. Write to us and we will respond within the time set by law.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Security
Passwords are stored only in encrypted (hashed) form; we use secure connections, role-based staff access and an activity log of every staff action. If a breach affecting you ever occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board as the law requires.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you logged in and the site working. We do not use advertising cookies.
